Before your wedding, we will meet to discuss your vision for your once-in-a-lifetime event–your wedding day! Our number one priority will be to understand what you want: What should your wedding day feel like? What kind of music should you hear at your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception—and just as importantly, what songs do you not want to hear? Our extensive background in music means we can help you choose the perfect song or list of songs to reflect your exact style, sophistication, and taste.

At Platinum Party Events Entertainment we specialize in weddings because we understand the planning and preparation that a smoothly-run, perfect wedding requires. A husband-and-wife team, we work together to ensure you have the best wedding ever! Your wedding DJ, Thomas, will make sure to play all the best music—and all the right songs: no dropped songs, no dead-air, no exceptions! Laurie will MC your event, making sure everything runs smoothly while ensuring you and your guests have an amazing time.

At Platinum Party Events Entertainment, we’re not just a DJ company: We consider hosting your event to be our responsibility to you, and take that responsibility seriously: As hosts, we strive to create events where everyone enjoys celebrating your special day! Setting up a consultation is easy: Just contact us! We’ll meet at a location convenient to you and discuss your specific plans for your special day—and we’ll make sure we understand everything you want. If you have no idea where to start, don’t worry: We can help! We can offer our experience through the entire planning phase, right up to your special day, and are more than happy to answer any questions you have.

If we’re unable to meet in person, we’re glad to accommodate you by meeting by phone or via Skype. Meeting or speaking with us well before your special day will make sure we get to know each other and ensure you feel comfortable and confident working with us—a must to reduce your wedding planning stress and allow you to focus on other important aspects of your wedding.

But the best part? We’ll be here to answer any and all questions you may have about your wedding day!

Some of the things we’ll discuss during your initial meeting or phone consult:

  • Your venue location and the number of guests who will be attending;
  • The vision you have for your wedding day;
  • The kind of music you would like played throughout the day, from your ceremony right up to your last dance song;
  • Your must-play songs and your do-not-play list;
  • Your preferences regarding the packages we offer, on dance lighting and room uplighting;
  • Your reception timeline, and how it will flow throughout the day;
  • Any small details you may have about your special day ;
  • How you would like to handle guest song requests for songs you don’t want played;
  • Adding personalized and unique Wow! Factors;
  • Anything else that will help you have the best wedding ever!
